History - She grew up around men, so was always shown how stuff worked. After leaving school at 14, she started an apprentiship in building Viper's and smaller vessels. By the time she was 24 she had joined the Colonial Military, and had taken the rarely chosen career path of the Snipe. Working her way up the ranks until she was made the Chief Engineer of a Defender, she managed to make a small name for herself with the Corp of Engineer's. Upon completion of a three year tour aboard the Defender she was transfered to the Battlestar Rhea. She was with the engineering team that filled in the space frame and made the ship whole, so she shares a special bond with the ship.
