Re: Out Of Character (OOC) Discussion
Lol. Why thankyou. I just abuse my mental thesaurus, make sure words sound good when put together and read the passages out in my head, got to get the tempo right.

I agree. It was a hell of a post.
And I'm looking forward to both your JP, Rylan, and your post, Mr. Staley.

Re: Out Of Character (OOC) Discussion
Sorry for the double post.
Just wanted to point out that not only the 10th but also the 9th and 8th Squadron are reserve. And that I would never recommend pink as a Squadrons color.

Re: Out Of Character (OOC) Discussion
Elena likes the posts to occur in chronological order.
If I had left yours where it was the reader would have found out about the promotions from Pheonix - negating the need for Elana and my whole JP thread about the rearrangement of the air wing.

Re: Out Of Character (OOC) Discussion
I've also got a post that happens in the rec room somewhere between the time of the JP and when Nagala walks in, though its not really as important to the plot.
Should I do the same thing or post as-is?

Re: Out Of Character (OOC) Discussion
Oookaaaaaay... frak. I just noticed that... I wouldn't say "at least" but about a quarter of Nagala's post is missing. The sentence with the "punches" was definitely not the last one. There was another limegreen chanting and Nagala took a sip from a bottle, pointing out that he hasn't been on the flight deck yet. So... yeah... frak.

Re: Out Of Character (OOC) Discussion
Fortunately I saved the whole thing into notepad before deleting Rylan's post.
edit: frak, there's a problem, the notepad file is identical to what I posted except for the OOC part that was at the bottom. So I have no ideea how I lost the rest I'm hoping maybe Rylan saved it as well before deleting..

Re: Out Of Character (OOC) Discussion
damn you guys are good.
But then again, Futuristic RPGs were never my forte. Wish I didn't have to work as much as I do, it really drains my time away. Plus you guys are insane with the sheer awesomeness of your posts.
I am hoping to post more.

Hah, don't worry about it man. I think most of us - if not all of us - have been there. Real life always comes first, and that can take a toll on one's RPing. Either way, I know what you're capable of, so whenever you do get enough time to get out a longer post, I know it'll be awesome.

Re: Out Of Character (OOC) Discussion
The good thing about BSG is that it is damn close to a 'realistic' drama action series. Think of it like an RP set on an aircraft carrier... in space! For the most part we haven't even hit on many sci fi themes yet - apart from the cylon infiltrators, Graff and my zero g flying and some techy stuff from Sola.
I for one am very greatful we have Jack Bauer aboard.

Re: Out Of Character (OOC) Discussion
Arr. I guess I'm retyping. :p
EDIT: Well, I decided to expand on it a little bit and make it better. Added in the first real hints of John's crush on Phoenix. (HOW WILL IT END?! :O)
PS: I just love the imagery of this quote...

Harden grinned as one of the younger pilots attempted a "combat landing" on a table in the cheers of the others.
